How to Play Paper IO
Pick a server and you'll spawn as a small cube on a square arena with up to dozens of other players. Use the WASD keys or the arrow keys to drive around. As you move, your cube drags a colored line behind it. To claim territory, drive a closed loop — the area inside the loop instantly fills with your color and becomes yours. Stay inside your own territory whenever possible; you're safe there. The moment you step outside it to start a new loop, your trail is vulnerable. If an opponent drives across your trail, your cube is eliminated and you restart. Rival cubes work the same way, so timing a charge across someone else's trail is the easiest way to remove a threat. The round ends when the timer runs out, and whoever owns the most squares at that moment wins the match.

Tips & Tricks
Always leave yourself an exit back to your own territory before starting a long loop. If you cannot see safe ground behind your trail, you're one mistake away from being cut off.
When a rival is mid-loop and exposed, intercept their trail from the side rather than chasing them head-on. Side cuts are easier to land and harder for them to dodge.
Don't chase every slice of open ground in the first ten seconds. Most early kills in Paper IO happen because someone stretched their trail too thin in pursuit of unclaimed tiles.
If your territory is shrinking, drive a tight loop right next to an enemy border instead of fighting in the open. Even a small reclaimed patch can flip a round.
